Accessibility at Silver Furniture

We want every customer to be able to browse, shop and get help on our website — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

Silver Furniture is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the experience for all users on a regular basis.

What we do

  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Clear, visible keyboard focus and full keyboard navigation
  • A “skip to main content” link and proper page structure
  • Labeled buttons, links and form fields for screen readers
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and important controls
  • Support for the “reduce motion” setting, and a control to pause our homepage slideshow

Ongoing work

Some parts of our experience — including third-party checkout and payment pages — are provided by our technology partners. We choose partners that share our accessibility goals, but we may not control every element of those pages. We continue to test and refine our own pages as we add products and features.
